  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced CVOR Tech for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS.
  • They will accept someone who holds NCCT cert as long as they have 3+ years of experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 full years of experience as a CVOR Tech
    • Active BLS certification
    • NCCT certification accepted with 3+ years of experience
      • Schedule Information
      • Normal Hours/shifts: 8 and 12 hour shifts.
      • Greater need is for evening shift from 1030-2300 and/or from 1430-2300.
      • On Call requirement 1 night a week and 1 weekend per 4 weeks.
      • Weekend Requirements: Yes, but this is a soft yes.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Tech Support: If scrub OR nurses are too hard to find, we could use 2 scrub techs with CVOR experience to work the mid-shift beginning at 1030am. This could be 12 hours or 8 hours.
        • Charge Nurse on Staff: yes
        • Scrub Color or Provided: Provided
        • Floating: no; Days, 12s, EOW, first to float, call required
          • Additional Details
          • MUST have Cerner experience
          • ALL MYJOURNEY MODULES NEED TO BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. TRAVELER WILL BE PUSHED BACK IF ALL MODULES ARE NOT COMPLETED. NO EXCEPTIONS
          • Unit: CVOR
          • Certifications Required: Techs: BLS, CST
          • Number of OR Rooms: 8 rooms a day plus 2 Heart rooms for a total of 9-10.
          • Cases per day: On average, we range from 23-25 cases per day.
          • Types of cases: General surgery, Vascular, Ortho, Endo, Urology.
