Job Details
A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Cath Lab Tech with X-ray experience for a travel contract.
The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active ARRT, BLS, ACLS, and CRT.
Candidate must have fluoro.
Job Requirements
-2 years of experience in Cath Lab Tech
- Active ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- CRT certification
- Fluoroscopy experience

Schedule Information
- Shift: 12's (every other weekend)
- Call: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
- Holidays are optional if they want holiday pay
-1-2 days of unit orientation

Unit Specific Information
- Unit: Cath Lab Tech with X-ray experience
-4 rooms
-15-20 cases per day
- We use laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, angiojet.
- They should be comfortable with critically ill patients.

CERNER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
ALL MYJOURNEY MODULES NEED TO BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. TRAVELER WILL BE PUSHED BACK IF ALL MODULES ARE NOT COMPLETED. NO EXCEPTIONS
We use Merge Hemo system.
Cath lab uses Siemens/Phillips - would be helpful if Cath lab staff had experience with this equipment but it is not required.
We have a charge nurse during the day and a circ nurse, who is basically the charge nurse after hours.
Every other weekend, weekend call is also every 6th weekend.
The call crew stays until all cases for the day are done. They will have day off after call.
Scrubs provided, ceil blue.
We have cardiologist and resp therapist on standby or working 24/7.
We do get ventilators, and have RT in the room for those cases.
Pharmacy in house 24/7.
No floating required.
